Welcome Teams!

We had two teams arrive on Monday.  It was the most unusual arrival we have had in a very long time.  It was a day of striking in Haiti by the taxi drivers and tap tap drivers over the rising cost of fuel when it is going down all over the world.  The strike turned into demonstrations along the national highway.  There were vehicles started on fire, rock throwing and gun shots.  Our drivers were caught in it and were stranded for seven hours.  They remained safe and we had some police that Marc knows go to the airport and be with the teams until the drivers could get to the airport. At 3:00 that afternoon they were able to make their way through and arrive at the airport.  They all pulled in to Haiti ARISE at 6:00 p.m.  We were able to hire four police to escort them back to ensure their safety.

We are especially thankful for their safe arrival.....
