Rocky Mountain College Team
We have a team of four students and their leader here from Rocky Mountain College from Calgary, AB. They are with us for three weeks. This is part of their six week cross cultural trip to have as many ministry experiences as possible. One of the ministries they took part in so far, is going to our Children's church at Tapion to tell and story and share with the children.

Technical School Kitchen
There is a team of four men here from BC to install the commercial kitchen in the Tech school. This kitchen was donated by Red Deer College and came down here in a container. With this kitchen, the school will be able to run a cafeteria and hold cooking classes.
Thanks to Jim, Mike, Ralph and Bryan for giving a week of their time and expertise to do this for us.

The Gift of Goats
It is common for team members to come with money that they have raised or been given to purchase goats for a family. Christophe goes to the market and makes the purchases and he and Pastor Marc find families that are particularly in need and would really benefit from such a gift. Here are a couple of these folks.......

Back to School
This is Lucsen and Mackenson. They are high school students who are preparing to go back to school after a break. We were able to help them out with new backpacks and a few supplies donated by some of you. They are very grateful! Thank you.
Back in Haiti
We left a bitterly cold Saskatchewan on Monday and arrived in a balmy Fort Lauderdale. It was fun to meet up with the Honorat family in the Port au Prince airport Tuesday morning and head back to Grand Goave together.
We hit the ground running (as usual) as the annual Pastor's Conference started Wednesday. This is a conference for Haitian pastors from the area. There were approximately 200 in attendance. Speakers come from the US, Canada and Mexico to encourage and inspire these special folks.
Our church cooks, hosts, ushers and does whatever else is needed for the conference. It is a wonderful time to see and hear the way everyone works together and enjoys each other's company. It ended this afternoon, so there were many tired folks who cleaned up and headed home to rest.
A cow was butchered to provide meat for the conference. The meals were wonderful and authentically Haitian.
